2015 Team Presentations

Below are links to the final presentations by the six student teams in ENV 202 in 2015.  The assignment was similar to 2015, although the students were given a specific structure for their presentations.  They begin with a review of the insights from their discipline-based literature reviews, then discuss their interdisciplinary insights on their topic by analyzing the gaps and interactions between their disciplines.  The presentations then take a transdisciplinary perspective by discussing the voices of non-academic actors (e.g. communities, businesses, policymakers, the media) and presenting an integrated model of the factors relevant to their topic.  The presentations conclude with a summary of the implications of the students’ research for policymakers and citizens.  This year all of the presentations are focused on an environmental issue in North Carolina.
